The Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Arben Fetai, has submitted his resignation from the post.

“Today, I submitted my resignation to the Prime Minister from the position of Deputy Prime Minister responsible for Good Governance.

Over the past two years, I have had the honor and privilege of serving the country, contributing to reforms aimed at strengthening accountability, transparency, and the rule of law—a mission that is as important as it is often thankless.

Am I completely satisfied with what we have achieved? Certainly not. There is always room for more, for better, and for faster progress. But have I worked with maximum dedication to lay solid foundations upon which further progress can be built? Without any hesitation, yes,” Fetai announced through his Facebook profile.

He added that this is a carefully considered decision, made with the conviction that under the current circumstances, it is the most appropriate and dignified course of action.

No further details regarding the reasons behind the resignation were provided in his statement.
