Germany’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Rainer Rudolph, has praised the conduct of the electoral process taking place today in Kosovo, stating that everything has so far been proceeding calmly and without any reported issues.
In a video message, Ambassador Rudolph announced that he is participating in election monitoring alongside four teams as part of an observation exercise organized by the European Union Office in Pristina.
He explained that the monitoring teams are visiting polling stations in Pristina and surrounding areas to closely observe the voting process on the ground.
“Today is election day in Kosovo, and we are participating with four teams in the election monitoring exercise organized by the EU Office in Pristina. So far, everything appears calm and without problems,” Ambassador Rudolph said.
He added that he is looking forward to the completion of the voting process and the publication of election results later in the evening, emphasizing the importance of a well-functioning democratic process.
Kosovo’s elections continue to be closely observed by both domestic authorities and international observers across the country.
