U.S. President Donald Trump issued a fresh warning to Iran, declaring that any attack resulting in the death of an American service member would be met with an overwhelming response.
In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump said he has already issued the necessary directives to Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine, and all senior U.S. military commanders.
“Every time Iran kills an American soldier, they will pay many times over. The appropriate instructions have already been given to the Secretary of Defense, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and every leader of our Armed Forces,” Trump wrote.
The president reiterated his administration’s hardline stance toward Tehran, signaling that any attack on U.S. forces would trigger a swift and significantly stronger military response.
