The US House of Representatives has approved, by a vote of 216 in favor and 212 against, a $1.15 trillion military budget bill that includes increased military and technological cooperation with Israel.
The bill, backed by the administration of President Donald Trump, aims to increase defense spending, including funding for military operations against Iran.
However, the package faces obstacles in the Senate, where Democrats have raised concerns over the high cost and the expansion of military cooperation with Israel, describing the bill as support for continuing the conflict with Iran.
