In November 1999, a list containing the names of 20 Serbian paramilitaries was discovered at the house of Sabit Krasniqi in Kishnica, near Pristina.
They had established an operational paramilitary headquarters there. According to accounts from numerous sources, paramilitary members operating from this base carried out crimes against the Albanian civilian population in various parts of Kosovo.
Based on the names, surnames and addresses recorded on the list, it appears that these paramilitaries originated from Kosovo, with the exception of one individual who was from Kuršumlija, Serbia.
Some of them are also alleged to have committed crimes in the village of Kishnica itself. Musa Gashi and Bajram Gashi, who survived the massacre, have provided testimonies concerning these crimes.
