The European Parliament has called on Kosovo to speed up the reforms required for closer integration with the European Union and to intensify its efforts in the normalization of relations with Serbia.
In a post published on X, the European Parliament emphasized that the effective functioning of Kosovo’s institutions is essential for the country’s progress on its European path.
“Kosovo must accelerate reforms and normalize relations with Serbia. Parliament calls for a functioning legislature and government that will advance EU-related reforms and support Kosovo’s path toward the European Union as a potential candidate country,” the statement said.
The European Parliament stressed that institutional stability and continued reform efforts remain key conditions for advancing Kosovo’s European integration process.
