Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti met with the commander of NATO’s Kosovo mission, KFOR, Major General Özkan Ulutaş, for talks focused on the security situation in Kosovo and the wider region.
The meeting was held as part of ongoing consultations and regular coordination between Kosovo’s institutions and the NATO-led KFOR mission.
Kurti and Ulutaş discussed developments in the security environment, as well as cooperation between the Kosovo government, security institutions and KFOR in maintaining peace and stability.
Kurti praised what he described as strong and continuous communication with KFOR and reaffirmed the government’s readiness to maintain close cooperation with the mission to ensure a safe environment for all citizens.
The acting prime minister also thanked Ulutaş for KFOR’s contribution and for its close cooperation with Kosovo’s institutions.
