Four demands were read out during today’s protest organized by the Organization of KLA War Veterans (OVL-KLA). The protesters said that both the government and the presidency bear responsibility for addressing them.
Among the demands was the dismissal of Minister of Justice Donika Gërvalla, with protesters stating: “What is a minister without the people? You do not have the people behind you. You must leave.”
The demands read out were:
Demand No. 1: Repeal or amend the Law on the Specialist Chambers.
Demand No. 2: Dismissal of Minister of Justice Donika Gërvalla.
Demand No. 3: Unlimited support and sufficient funding for the defense required by the KLA leaders and our nation.
Demand No. 4: Engage the best international experts.
