For the tenth consecutive night, citizens gathered in Skanderbeg Square in Pristina for the “Not in My Name” protest against the verdict issued by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague against former KLA leaders.
The protesters are also expressing their full support for the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).
The “Not in My Name” protest has been held every evening in Pristina since September 16, following the verdict issued by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague against the former KLA leaders.
The organizer of the “Not in My Name” protest, Çlirim Haziri, has launched a new initiative, calling on citizens to display the KLA flag on their homes.
Earlier in the day, protests were also held in cities across Kosovo against the sentences handed down to the former KLA leaders. The demonstrations were organized by the Organization of War Veterans of the KLA (OVL-KLA), which joined the protest in Skanderbeg Square tonight.
