Protesters Move in Front of Assembly Entrance

Protesters have moved to the entrance of the Kosovo Assembly, demanding that the amendments to the Law on the Specialist Chambers also be approved in a second reading.

Among the protesters is Xhavit Jashari, a representative of the KLA War Veterans’ Organization (OVL-UÇK), who has called for the abolition of the Specialist Chambers.

Jashari called on the Assembly to approve the law in its second reading today, stressing that their demand is for the process to be completed within the day.

The protest is taking place in front of the Assembly building, with protesters calling on MPs to vote on the amendments to the law.
