Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a new warning to the United States as Washington strengthens its military presence in the Middle East.

IRGC spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi published an image showing a group of missiles positioned along the coast and aimed at a US aircraft carrier. The image was accompanied by a brief but direct message: “We’re waiting for you.”

The post comes amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran, as the United States increases its naval presence in the region.

According to the report, the US has begun preparations to deploy a third carrier strike group to the Middle East, alongside an additional Marine expeditionary unit.

The warship USS Theodore Roosevelt departed for the region in late September. The USS George H.W. Bush and USS George Washington are also reportedly present in the area. The additional US force is expected to arrive in November.

Last week, US President Donald Trump said that no new US military action against Iran would be undertaken before the midterm elections scheduled for November 3.

Meanwhile, Tehran continues to issue warnings to US forces deployed across the Middle East.
