Kosovo’s Minister of Defence, Ejup Maqedonci, met today with General Alexus G. Grynkewich, NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) and Commander of the United States European Command (USEUCOM).
The meeting focused on developments in the defence sector, cooperation with NATO member states, and progress in strengthening and modernizing the Kosovo Security Force (KSF).
Minister Maqedonci briefed General Grynkewich on investments aimed at building defence capabilities, advancing personnel’s professional development, and procuring weapons systems and equipment in line with NATO standards.
During the meeting, General Grynkewich commended the progress achieved by the Kosovo Security Force and the Republic of Kosovo’s investments in developing its military.
Minister Maqedonci expressed his gratitude for the continued support of the United States and for KFOR’s contribution to maintaining peace and stability in Kosovo and the wider region.
