Seven hospitality establishments were closed last night in North Mitrovica and Zvečan during an operation carried out by the relevant inspection authorities, with the assistance of the Kosovo Police.
The operation involved the Central Market Surveillance Inspectorate, the Sanitary Inspectorate and the Tax Administration of Kosovo (TAK), supported by the Kosovo Police.
Veton Elshani, Deputy Director of the Kosovo Police for the North Region, told Indeksonline that seven economic operators had been inspected during the operation: five in North Mitrovica and two in Zvečan.
“Last night, with police assistance, seven economic operators were inspected (five in North Mitrovica and two in Zvečan).
Due to their failure to present approval confirming compliance with the minimum technical requirements, six economic operators were temporarily prohibited from operating. One business in Zvečan was also ordered to cease operations because it was not registered with the Kosovo Business Registration Agency (KBRA) and had likewise failed to obtain approval confirming compliance with the minimum technical requirements,” Elshani said.
