Former American Senator Jim Inhofe, a former chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee and one of the most outspoken climate change skeptics in the U.S. Senate, has died, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell announced on Tuesday.
Otherwise, Jim Inhofe was a supporter of Kosovo’s freedom and independence cause.
Inhofe, 89, served in the U.S. Senate from 1994 until his retirement in 2023, as reported by CNN.
He served as the senior Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee in his final years in the Senate.
He had a 55-year political career and is known for his very significant role.
