A CNN poll of the average of recent polls pitting US Vice President Kamala Harris against former President Donald Trump in this year’s presidential election found a close race without a clear leader.

The CNN poll is an average of the six most recent national nonpartisan polls of eligible registered or likely voters.

The poll of polls includes results from the CBS News/YouGov poll conducted July 16-18, the NBC News poll conducted July 7-9, the Fox News poll conducted July 7-10, the NPR poll/ PBS News/Marist College poll conducted July 9-10, ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos poll conducted July 5-9, and CNN poll conducted June 28-30.

The results show that Trump has 48% support in the average of the last six polls, while Harris has 47%. Each poll was conducted after last month’s CNN presidential debate, and only one — the CBS/YouGov poll — was after the July 13 assassination of Trump.
