The Kosovo Security Force (FSK) has announced that officers Major Fatmir Lami and Major Faton Bekteshi have successfully completed the Advanced Command and Staff Course (ACSC) at the United Kingdom Defence Academy in Shrivenham. They also completed the academic program, earning the title of Master of Arts in Defence Studies from King’s College London.
The course is residential and lasts for 46 weeks, attended by officers from the United Kingdom and international officers from 48 partner countries.
“The course focuses on key areas such as command, leadership, and management; research and critical thinking; understanding of global reality and the context of global security. It aims to prepare senior leaders with proficiency in the military profession and provide intellectual enhancement for success in operations and leadership in governance,” the announcement states.
