Russian military intelligence is attempting to create “chaos” across Britain and Europe. This was stated by Ken McCallum, head of the Security Service in Britain, who expressed the official concerns of London about a rising threat of terrorism from Al-Qaeda and ISIS.
In an annual speech, McCallum also accused Iran of being behind dozens of plots in Britain.
He noted that investigations into state threats increased by 48% last year as Russia and Iran turned to criminals, drug traffickers, and representatives to carry out their “dirty work.”
Describing the threats to Britain, McCallum said that since March 2017, British intelligence and police had disrupted 43 plots, some of which were in the final stages of planning to kill as many people as possible on the streets of Britain.
