U.S. President-elect Donald Trump told NBC News that he cannot guarantee that the promised tariffs on foreign trade partners won’t increase prices for American consumers.
He once again suggested that some of his political rivals and federal officials who pursued legal actions against him should be jailed, according to AP reports.
Trump also touched on issues such as monetary policy, immigration, abortion, healthcare, and U.S. involvement in Ukraine, Israel, and other countries.
During the interview, the President-elect made contradictory statements regarding how he would handle the U.S. justice system.
Several times, Trump suggested that he was not interested in seeking revenge, but he did not explicitly rule out criminal charges against his political rivals.
