Today, parliamentary elections were held in Kosovo – the first regular ones since the declaration of independence in 2008.
The Exit Poll conducted by Klan Kosovo, carried out by PIPO, shows that the first-place party is the Self-Determination Movement (LVV) with 38.2%, followed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) with 22.4%, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) with 20.1%, and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) with 7.6%. Meanwhile, the Coalition for the Family has failed to secure a place in the Assembly.
A total of 28 political entities and one independent candidate participated, with four candidates for prime minister: Albin Kurti from LVV, Bedri Hamza from PDK, Lumir Abdixhiku from LDK, and Ramush Haradinaj from the AAK-Nisma coalition and other partners.
Over 2 million citizens, both inside and outside Kosovo, were eligible to vote.
