The Central Election Commission (KQZ) has clarified that the publication of result forms for political entities and candidates from the February 9 elections does not constitute the announcement of final results.

According to KQZ, this step was taken to increase transparency in the electoral process and to inform the public about the current counting results.

“These forms were completed in the Municipal Counting Centers during the process of counting votes for parliamentary candidates and verifying the results of political entities from polling station forms,” stated KQZ spokesperson Valmir Elezi.

He emphasized that this publication is not the final announcement of results but rather a display of forms filled out by teams at the Counting Centers.

“The final election results will be announced by KQZ after the completion of the counting of all ballots from regular polling stations, conditional voting, voting of persons with special needs, voting from abroad, the resolution of any complaints by the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) and the Supreme Court, and after the completion of all procedures at the Counting and Results Center (CRC),” Elezi explained to RTK.
