14.36% of Postal Votes Counted: How Do the Parties and Their Leaders Stand?

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has counted 14.36% of postal votes, according to the latest update on their official website, made last night at 23:25.

Vetëvendosje Movement currently holds 44.33% of the postal votes, with their candidate for Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, receiving 2,520 votes.

In second place is the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), which has garnered 33.55% of the postal votes, while their candidate for Prime Minister, Lumir Abdixhiku, has 1,770 votes.

In third place is the coalition of AAK and Nisma with 9.68%, while their candidate for Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, has 539 votes. The leader of Nisma, Fatmir Limaj, has received 154 votes.

In fourth place is the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), with 6.48% of the postal votes, while their candidate for Prime Minister, Bedri Hamza, has received 365 votes. Meanwhile, the leader of this party, Memli Krasniqi, has received 169 votes.

The CEC announced last night that the counting of postal votes is ongoing, and the process is transparent, conducted in the presence of accredited observers.

All Kosovar citizens who were individually registered to vote by mail during the registration process were able to send their voting packages with ballots to one of the CEC’s open postal boxes in various countries.

The number of ballot packages that were evaluated and approved by the CEC after the review process exceeds 63,000.

Additionally, the counting of votes from diplomatic missions is not yet complete, with 95.35% of votes counted so far.
