The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that the counting process of more than 15,500 ballots from conditional voting and voting by persons with special needs has been completed.
But when are the final results expected to be announced?
According to Article 105 of the General Elections Law, the CEC is required to wait at least 48 hours before announcing the final results of the elections for the Assembly of Kosovo.
This article allows for the possibility of complaints to be filed within 48 hours of an alleged violation regarding the administration of the counting process that took place at the Center for Counting and Results (QNR).
According to the latest results published on the CEC’s website, the Vetëvendosje Movement has won 40.9% or 345,760 votes, followed by PDK with 22.04% or 186,302 votes, LDK with 17.64% or 149,095 votes, and the AAK-Nisma Socialdemocratic coalition with 7.46% or 63,035 votes.
These results do not include votes from the diaspora, conditional votes, or votes from persons with special needs.
