The car of the deputy of the Republic of Srpska, Nebojsha Vukanović, was set on fire in front of his house in Trebinje on Friday evening.

Vukanović shared footage from the surveillance cameras through a post on Facebook.

The deputy is known as one of the harshest critics of Milorad Dodik’s regime and considers the act as retaliation for his political activities.

The incident occurred after Nebojsha Vukanović returned to Trebinje from Banja Luka, where he attended a session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska.

During the session, representatives from both the opposition and the ruling majority, controlled by Dodik, clashed during a heated debate over the draft of the new constitution of the entity.
