The leader of the Democratic Party of Albania, Sali Berisha, has called on the youth to be present at tomorrow’s protest against the ban of the TikTok platform, a decision made by the government.
While calling it censorship like in communism, Berisha promised the return of the app on the 12th.
“Let’s protest against censorship. Edi Rama censors TikTok, the currently most modern tool, based entirely on his intolerance towards it, all the students of Albania, the high schoolers, and other young people will have TikTok on their phones on the 12th. He will be heavily punished for the mega-crime of these giant measures for this act. Let’s leave everything in respect of free speech, let’s protest tomorrow at 19:00 at ‘Skanderbeg’ Square in Tirana, all the young people. You, the knights who defend it, let’s all gather in support of them,” he said, as reported by Top Channel.
