The Vice President of LDK, Doarsa Kica-Xhelili, has reiterated the stance of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) regarding their refusal to form a coalition with the Vetëvendosje Movement (VV).

“The positions of LDK, as presented before the elections, were a public offer to any citizen of Kosovo who chose to vote for LDK. If a political party has openly shown a large gap with VV, a gap that has turned into an immovable wall after the elections, not only in discourse but also in the way it has governed Kosovo, we value this. However, despite reiterating our position, we notice changes in stances from what was said before the elections and after the elections, and this is not the case for LDK,” she stated.

“When we said that we will not enter into a coalition with VV, we did not place any conditions. This position is our principle. It has never been conditional but crystal clear. LDK does not have a meeting today, we need to have a meeting today. Any separate invitation is not within the framework of normal meetings, and I do not know why there is talk of a formal meeting,” she added.
