Lumir Abdixhiku, the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), is expected to officially respond to Albin Kurti, leader of the Vetëvendosje (VV) movement, later today. According to Jehona Lushaku-Sadriu, a member of the LDK Presidency, the response will be delivered in a formal letter, which will be made public.
While Abdixhiku is currently meeting with the party’s deputy leaders, Lushaku emphasized that the LDK’s position toward VV has not changed. “Both during and before the campaign, all the criticism we’ve made has been well-argued, and we stand consistently behind our positions. So, don’t think we’ve made any drastic changes. We remain critical, especially towards Vetëvendosje and their use of language,” Lushaku stated.
Meanwhile, Kurti has invited Abdixhiku to a meeting scheduled for tomorrow, with the option to postpone it to the following day.
