Recently, the Council of Ministers made an important decision allowing citizens of five countries to enter Albania without a visa for tourism purposes, reports albinfo.ch.

This decision applies to citizens of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Thailand, and Indonesia, who can travel to Albania with a valid passport, for a period lasting until December 31, 2025.

This visa exemption is an important step in efforts to promote tourism and strengthen international ties, as well as to increase the number of visitors from these countries. The visa exemption period will begin on April 15, 2025.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has been tasked with implementing this decision. Once published in the “Official Gazette,” this decision will immediately come into effect, allowing for smoother and faster travel for tourists from these countries.

This initiative aims to further stimulate tourism development in Albania and strengthen international relations with the mentioned countries, giving citizens of these nations the opportunity to explore Albania’s beauty without bureaucratic obstacles.
