As part of the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya, the Acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, held an important meeting with the President of Turkey’s Defense Industry, Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, reports Rks News.
Maqedonci announced that during the meeting, they discussed opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the defense industry sector, as well as strategic steps that will contribute to strengthening regional security.
“The defense industry will continue to receive special attention in our defense priorities. In Antalya, as part of the Diplomatic Forum, I met with the President of Turkey’s Defense Industry, Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, with whom we discussed the potential areas of cooperation between our two countries in the defense industry and strategic steps that will contribute to regional security,” he wrote on Facebook.
According to Maqedonci, this approach not only brings Kosovo closer to its partner countries but also strengthens internal capacities for self-sufficiency in ammunition production.
“The development of the defense industry strengthens the relations between our countries 🇽🇰 🇹🇷 and contributes significantly to further developing our capacities, creating self-sufficiency for various calibers of ammunition,” he stated.
