The Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo, Anu Prattipati, visited the Decani Monastery, one of the most important religious and cultural sites in the country, which is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
During her trip to the Dukagjin region, Prattipati met with local entrepreneurs and community leaders, emphasizing the United States’ ongoing support for local development and interfaith harmony in Kosovo.
At the monastery, she had a productive meeting with Father Sava, where she reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to protecting religious freedoms in Kosovo — particularly as Christians prepare to celebrate Easter.
The U.S. Embassy in Kosovo shared the visit on social media:
“Chargé d’affaires Anu Prattipati was pleased to return to Decani Monastery – on the UNESCO World Heritage List and an important cultural site.
