Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani has expressed deep sorrow following the death of Pope Francis, stating that the people of Kosovo unite with millions around the world in mourning the loss of the pontiff. In a post on X, Osmani wrote:
“The people of the Republic of Kosovo join millions of people around the world in mourning the passing of His Holiness, Pope Francis – a voice of compassion, humility, and justice in our time.”
President Osmani also reflected on Pope Francis’ profound impact, stating, “His legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched.” She emphasized that Kosovo stands with all those who continue to carry forward his message of hope, peace, and human dignity.
Pope Francis, 88 years old, passed away after a prolonged battle with health issues, leaving behind a legacy that resonated deeply within both the Catholic Church and the global community.
