The Kosovo Center for the Rehabilitation of Torture Survivors (KRCT) has announced that the U.S. Congress has introduced Resolution 26 – a powerful voice against crimes of sexual violence in Kosovo.
“A long, painful, and silent battle is finally receiving the attention it deserves. Gratitude to Vasfije Krasniqi Goodman – a symbol of courage – and Vera Mjeku for their dedication and tireless voice on this journey toward truth. This resolution brings hope to every survivor who has waited for justice for years,” stated Shyrete Tahiri Ramadan Nishori.
