The Chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, stated that if Vetëvendosje proposes a new candidate for the position of Speaker of the Assembly during the upcoming Saturday session, AAK will support that candidate.
Haradinaj emphasized that if Glauk Konjufca is proposed, AAK will vote in favor. He expressed hope that Vetëvendosje would find a unifying candidate for the position.
“We are waiting for Vetëvendosje to reflect on their candidacy, to find a candidate that unites us. We hope that by tomorrow, we will have good news, and that Vetëvendosje will put forward a unifying candidate. If they do, tomorrow we will have a Speaker of the Assembly. We have not discussed Glauk, but it’s not a problem, I believe so,” said Haradinaj after a solemn event marking the 25th anniversary of AAK.
Regarding Fatmir Limaj, Haradinaj expressed uncertainty about whether he would support him for the role, stating, “I don’t know. We don’t have a stance yet, but it needs to be discussed.”
