President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met today with the Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo, Anu Prattipati, to discuss recent developments in the country and the broader region.
According to a statement from the Office of the President, the meeting covered topics including the security situation in Kosovo and the region, and the progress toward forming new governing institutions.
Additionally, the two discussed a wide range of bilateral issues between Kosovo and the United States, with particular focus on areas of mutual interest. Special emphasis was placed on defense cooperation and opportunities to further deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
