President Vjosa Osmani stated that the friendship with Austria remains a strong pillar of Kosovo’s European journey.
The head of state made these remarks after participating in the ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camp, alongside her Austrian counterpart, Alexander Van der Bellen, and First Lady Doris Schmidauer.
“Before the commemorative ceremony, we had a sincere and substantial discussion about our enduring friendship and Austria’s valuable support at every stage of Kosovo’s state-building,” Osmani said.
“Kosovo is committed to the Euro-Atlantic integration process, and on this journey, we are blessed to have friends like Austria by our side,” she wrote on Facebook.
