The Organization of Veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army (OVL UÇK) has strongly condemned the latest decision by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague to deny the temporary release of Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi, and Jakup Krasniqi.

In an official statement, the OVL UÇK described the ruling as a “clear injustice against representatives of Kosovo’s liberation war”. The organization argues that such treatment by the court undermines Kosovo’s legitimate struggle for freedom and damages its efforts to gain further international recognition.

“This decision is a step backward in the pursuit of international justice and equality. Our comrades deserve fair and objective treatment, not continued discrimination,” the statement reads.

The veterans’ organization called on international institutions to review the situation objectively and take steps to end what it called the unjust treatment of Kosovo Liberation Army leaders.

“We will continue to defend our glorious war for freedom and always stand by those who sacrificed everything for a better future for our people,” the statement concluded.
