The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, is on an official visit to Albania at the invitation of his counterpart, Lieutenant General Arben Kingji.
The two generals discussed joint activities and new opportunities for deepening cooperation between the two armed forces, in the interest of preserving peace, strengthening security, and increasing interoperability.

“As part of the official visit, General Jashari also met with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Pirro Vengu. During the meeting at the Ministry of Defense, Minister Vengu briefed General Jashari on the achievements and challenges of the Ministry and the Albanian Armed Forces (FARSH), as well as their role within the NATO alliance.”

“On the other hand, General Jashari congratulated Minister Vengu on the accomplishments of the Ministry and FARSH, and highly appreciated the support provided for the development of joint training and activities,” the statement reads.
It is further noted that General Jashari also paid an official visit to the Air Base in Kuçovë, where he was informed about the investments and modernization efforts at the base.
