Guxo MP Haxhi Avdyli, part of the coalition with Vetëvendosje, has stated that this week will bring positive developments regarding the constitution of the Kosovo Assembly, writes Rks News.
He said that positive moves have been seen from political figures such as Fatmir Limaj, as well as from specific deputies who could help end the institutional deadlock.
“I believe that this upcoming week will bring results, will bring good news. Starting tomorrow, we’ll begin to see positive developments,” Avdyli stated, adding: “I can’t say it will happen tomorrow or in two days, but sometime this week… we will have the breakthrough, we will have the Speaker of the Assembly,” he said on DPT te Fidani.
He also mentioned Lutfi Haziri’s position, saying:
“Lutfi Haziri said that if they have 60 votes, mine will be the 61st.”
According to Avdyli, two other deputies have expressed similar support, though he did not reveal their names.
Avdyli emphasized that three Assembly sessions are expected this week, and he hopes that in at least one of them, the long-awaited institutional progress will be made.
