Renowned Kosovar mountaineer Uta Ibrahimi has returned home following the completion of one of the most challenging missions in the world of alpinism – summiting the 14 highest mountains on the globe, reports Rks News.
With this achievement, she has joined the ranks of the most famous international climbers, further elevating Kosovo’s profile on the world stage.
In recognition of her extraordinary success, the Acting Minister of Culture, Youth, and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku, warmly welcomed her through a Facebook post, praising the achievement.
“Welcome home, Uta 🇽🇰. Uta is returning home after conquering one of her most extraordinary journeys – the project of climbing the 14 highest peaks in the world. A historic achievement that places her among the world’s greatest mountaineers. Thank you, Uta, for elevating our state. 💙,” Çeku wrote.
