LDK MP Doarsa Kica-Xhelili has dismissed speculation that any LDK deputies might secretly vote in favor of Albulena Haxhiu for Speaker of the Assembly.
Ahead of the 22nd attempt to convene the Kosovo Assembly, Kica-Xhelili stated that the LDK parliamentary group’s stance remains unchanged, as long as there is no new political agreement.
“We have no reason to change our position. You can’t change the voting method in the middle of the process,” she said.
Asked about the possibility of secret voting from LDK members, she replied:
“There’s no evidence—just speculation. What I do know is the opposite: we are united in our stance.”
