The British Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, visited the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK) in Hajvali today, where he was received by the Executive Chief, Kushtrim Hodaj.
During the meeting, Chief Hodaj briefed Ambassador Hargreaves on IPK’s current activities, achievements in police oversight, and the challenges the institution faces in fulfilling its mandate.
Ambassador Hargreaves expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and praised IPK’s daily work, emphasizing the institution’s vital role in strengthening police integrity and addressing citizens’ complaints regarding the conduct of Kosovo Police officers.
Both parties welcomed the opportunity to deepen cooperation between the Kosovo Police Inspectorate and the United Kingdom in order to strengthen the rule of law and accountability in the security sector
