International Interpol Operation: 20 Arrested for Child Sexual Abuse Materials

Interpol has announced that 20 individuals have been arrested across Europe and the Americas as part of a cross-border operation targeting the distribution of child sexual abuse material, reports Rks News.

The operation, led by Spanish police and involving 12 countries, began at the end of last year following the discovery of online groups circulating exploitative content involving minors.

According to Interpol, seven of the arrests took place in Spain, including:

A healthcare worker suspected of paying minors in Eastern Europe for explicit images.

A teacher accused of possessing and distributing such material across multiple online platforms.

In Latin America, authorities arrested 10 individuals across seven countries, including:

Three suspects in El Salvador.

A teacher in Panama.

Additional suspects were arrested in other European countries and the United States.

Interpol also stated that 68 more suspects have been identified, and investigations are ongoing.
