The elected deputies of the Kosovo Assembly will meet again on Saturday, one day after the Kurban Bajram holiday.
The session, which will be the 28th attempt to constitute the Kosovo Assembly, will begin at 11:00 AM.
On Thursday, the deputies failed for the 27th time to make the parliament functional.
This session is not being held after the usual 48-hour interval, but after 24 hours, with the agreement of all deputies to take a break today for the Kurban Bajram celebration.
The parliamentary deadlock has now lasted for nearly two months due to the insistence of the Vetëvendosje Movement on a secret ballot for their candidate for Assembly Speaker, Albulena Haxhiu.
So far, she has been unable to secure the necessary majority to become the head of the Assembly.
