During an operation by the Police Surveillance Agency (AMP) in Kapshticë, six kilograms of heroin were seized from a vehicle traveling towards Greece.
Authorities have arrested the driver of the vehicle where the drugs were found, as well as four border police officers, including a shift supervisor.
The four officers are accused of the criminal offense of “abuse of duty.” The investigative team continues to work on uncovering the full extent of the activity and the role of the border police officers in Kapshticë.
