The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) in Drenas has once again proposed Ramiz Lladrovci as its candidate for mayor.
Lladrovci announced the news himself through a post on Facebook, stating that he is now awaiting approval of this proposal by the head of PDK.
“I thank the PDK branch leadership in Drenas for approving the proposal of my candidacy for mayor in the October 12 elections. The vote count was 42 in favor, one against, and one abstention. I await the approval of this proposal from the PDK Chairman this branch has never known defeat since liberation,” he wrote.
Lladrovci also stated that the unity demonstrated by the PDK branch during national elections is expected to be repeated in the upcoming local elections.
“Drenas, once a bastion of the KLA and today a stronghold of the PDK, remains unbreakable in the path and vision of our heroes of war and peace Hashim, Kadri, Jakup. The Municipality of Drenas has been declared six times champion of good governance at the national level, thanks to its outstanding citizens and the best-organized PDK branch. I look forward to continuing this journey.”
“The trust given to me is not only a duty but also an obligation to serve the citizens of Drenas,” Lladrovci concluded.
