Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has expressed concern over the escalation of tensions between Israel and Iran, condemning the Israeli strikes on targets inside Iran, reports Rks News.
According to the Russian news agency Interfax, Peskov has called for calm and the avoidance of a broader conflict.
Israel has stated that it struck nuclear facilities, ballistic missile factories, and military commanders in an operation launched to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
