Baghdad, Iraq – June 13, 2025 – Iraq has accused Israel of a “flagrant violation of sovereignty,” asserting that Israel utilized Iraqi airspace to launch an attack on Iran, “The Guardian” reports.

In response, Iraq has lodged a complaint with the UN Security Council, as confirmed by Baghdad’s Foreign Ministry.

“These actions constitute a flagrant violation of Iraq’s sovereignty,” the ministry’s statement declared, urging the Security Council “to assume its responsibilities” and act to “prevent the recurrence of these violations.”
