Iran has officially begun Phase Four of its military operation against Israel, CNN reported, citing Iran’s semi-official news agency Mehr News.
The ongoing operation, dubbed “True Promise 3”, involves the launch of hundreds of ballistic missiles of various types, targeting residential buildings and infrastructure within Israel, according to the report.
Mehr News described the attacks as a “decisive response” to Israel’s initial strike on Iran, which had killed several high-ranking Iranian military commanders.
Iranian authorities have warned that they will “respond firmly to any further adventurism” from Israel, reinforcing their stance through this new wave of assaults
