Milan begins talks with Bayer Leverkusen for the transfer of Granit Xhaka

Milan has started negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen to sign the Albanian midfielder Granit Xhaka during the summer transfer window. The Rossoneri aim to strengthen their squad with the goal of returning to European competitions, and Xhaka is one of the top names on their list, writes Rks News.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Milan made direct contact with Bayer Leverkusen officials on Thursday, and talks between the clubs began after the midfielder expressed his willingness to join the Italian club’s project.

The potential transfer fee is expected to be around 15 million euros, an amount Milan is ready to invest to secure Xhaka’s services at San Siro.
