After a temporary halt in services, the Regional Waste Management Company “Pastrimi” has resumed its operations in the capital today, Wednesday. This comes a day after workers boycotted services, protesting the decision to divide operations with other companies.
In a press release, the company explained the reasons for the suspension and announced the restart of activities. “‘Pastrimi’ resumes work on the ground, committed to cleanliness and public responsibility,” the statement read. “The Regional Waste Management Company ‘Pastrimi’ informs the public that it has restarted work on the ground for waste removal in all areas it covers with services. Following a temporary interruption due to objective difficulties, work resumed Tuesday evening with the third shift, initially focusing on the most sensitive and waste-laden areas.”
The company emphasized that its teams are on the ground and maximally committed to restoring cleanliness and hygiene in public spaces.
