President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani has continued her efforts to resolve the institutional deadlock that has prevented the constitution of the new Assembly, holding meetings on Wednesday with representatives of smaller parliamentary parties.
Among them was Mimoza Kusari-Lila, chair of the Alternativa party and current parliamentary group leader for Vetëvendosje.
In addition to Kusari-Lila, President Osmani also met with several leaders of non-majority communities, including:
Adem Hoxha, leader of Jedinstvena Goranska Partija
Albert Kinolli, leader of the United Roma Party of Kosovo
Rasim Demiri, leader of Demokratska Stranka Bošnjaka
These meetings are part of a broader round of consultations aimed at finding a political solution to the ongoing Assembly impasse, following the June elections. President Osmani has already met with party leaders Albin Kurti (LVV), Memli Krasniqi (PDK), and Lumir Abdixhiku (LDK).
